Matt Brick didn’t always plan to become a lawyer. With a psychology degree and aspirations in psychiatry, he was poised for medical school—until a playful Mario Kart debate with his older brother sparked a pivot that would define his career. After earning a scholarship that allowed him to complete law school in just two years, Matt joined a long-standing family legacy of legal practice, including his father, aunt, uncles, and more than a dozen cousins. Law offered him the chance to combine intellectual rigor with a genuine desire to help people, reflecting the empathy that first drew him to mental health.
